Child and Adolescent
Parenting and caring for children can be one of life’s most rewarding and joyful experiences. However, when children and adolescents suffer or behave in ways that hurt and distress others or refuse to meet their potential, parenting can feel overwhelming.
While every person comes with their own unique personality and temperament, our world can exacerbate problems. Sometimes the difficulties children and adolescents present are a direct reflection of trouble in their wider world.
Whatever the difficulty, children need the help and support of those who love, care and have responsibility for them to find and enact a different way.
How we can help
Our approach treats each child as an individual and connects this to the world in which they live, either with biological family or in other care arrangements. We empower and educate those who care for the child or adolescent while removing excessive responsibility from the young person, ensuring they are focused on age-appropriate tasks.
