Bower Place provides supervision towards Australian Association of Family Therapy (AAFT) Clinical Membership by block placement or weekly sessions working with families.

How much contact time does supervision entail?
Contact days and time are able to be negotiated – suggestions detailed below
Option 1 weekly sessions:
Weekly Sessions: (12 weeks) 1 day a week for 4 hours.
12 days in total.
Option 2 block placement:
Block Placement: (3 week duration) 4 days a week.
12 days in total.

What can I expect from the Bower Place Complex Needs Clinic (CNC)?
Bower Place CNC is a teaching clinic and students participating in the Bower Place Supervision program work with Bower Place clients during their contact days and time.
As students in this program are qualified practitioners, client sessions are facilitated by students (under supervision) with continuous and direct oversight by Bower Place senior practitioners.
Bower Place practitioners will meet with clients as part of sessions depending on requirements and participate at times.
What are the entry requirements?
Candidates seeking entry to this course must provide evidence of the following:
- Completion of the Family Therapy & Systemic Practice Training Programme
What is the cost of the course?
$2500 + GST*
