Support Worker and Client Support Assistant

A passion for helping people and working with Children and Youth led Lauren to complete a Certificate IV in Child Youth and Family Intervention. With experience in the industry as a Support Worker and Mentor, Lauren works  as a Support Worker and Client Support Assistant as part of the Bower Place team.  Lauren also thoroughly enjoys working with clients to thrive as part of the Bower Place Group Activities that she assists in facilitating.

Lauren is committed to working with clients to build on their strengths, develop and increase their own life skills and reach their goals. Her work experience as a mentor with Big Brothers/Big Sisters and The Smith Family, Lauren has assisted people of all ages to increase their independence and community engagement by supporting clients and acknowledging that each person is an expert in their own life.

Prior to commencing her study and work in the human services field, Lauren worked in Conveyancing for over 13 years and has a Certificate IV in Conveyancing and an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services (Conveyancing). Her experience and extensive knowledge in this industry provided her with exceptional organisational skills, the capacity to work effectively and collaboratively with other professionals and the ability to establish strong and respectful relationships with clients, all of which she applies to her role in Bower Place.
