Clinical Assistant and Support Worker

Joseph has 10 years of experience in working in the acute mental health sector, particularly in the area of youth services and complex needs. Joseph has established various youth programs in South Australia, focused mainly around music and sports and has a particular interest in social justice and building systems that support Indigenous Australians.

Joseph’s role at Bower Place involves community support work, focused on building independence, reducing anxiety and engaging clients with education or employment. Joseph also works in the Bower Place Complex Needs Clinic as a clinical therapy assistant.

Joseph has a Diploma of Youth Work, a Certificate IV in Mental Health and is currently studying a Bachelor of Social Sciences.
