Support Worker

Support Worker Jack’s role at Bower Place is to support clients within the community, focusing on promoting positive mental health, building independence, and reducing anxiety. Prior to obtaining his Certificate IV in Youth Work, Jack has lived in Canada, studied sound engineering, and worked in residential brick paving, commercial construction, outdoor retail, and food service industries. This diverse background and set of skills enables Jack to connect and build relationships with clients from many walks of life. Jack eventually found his passion in supporting youth and people with complex needs to navigate their lives with positive mental health. He has been practicing daily meditation and mindfulness for 8 years and enjoys sharing his learnings with clients. During his spare time, Jack also works casually as a residential support worker and volunteers for the Disabled Surfers Association of Australia.
