Hello to our friends and colleagues of Bower Place!
Well 2020 has certainly been a year of new challenges and a time of change for us all. But change can also be a positive thing, creating new perspectives, experiences and opportunities.
This week Bower Place has undergone its own change. We are very excited to launch our new brand, which is a true reflection of Bower Place today – our values and what we seek to achieve in supporting our clients, our students and the industry as a whole.
We first opened our doors in 1986 at our original location in Bower Place, Eastwood. It was this location that originally inspired the name of our practice.
Now based in Gawler Place just off Rundle Mall, we remain connected to our origins through our name, but our practice and the support we offer our clients, students and our industry have evolved dramatically over this time. Now with a team of 13, we have supported thousands of individuals and families through psychology, family therapy, mental health counselling, dispute resolution and mediation, in addition to training more than 5000 practitioners.
Our new brand reflects our unique and protocol-based approach that considers the whole person (inside and outside) and our ability to bring simplicity to often complex situations.
We also recognised two key themes had emerged in everything we do:
- a focus on making positive progress
- making change in people’s lives, whether that be a client, a student of one of our education courses wanting to progress their career or an organisation seeking advice or protocols in working with complex matters.
Bower Place is not just a physical place – it’s your place for positive change.
While we may look a little different, not everything changes. Our focus on creating positive change in our clients’ and students’ lives remains at the heart of Bower Place.
Be sure to visit our new website to learn more about Bower Place or book an appointment online, by phone (08) 8221 6066 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to see one of our practitioners in person.
From our Directors, Malcolm Robinson and Catherine Sanders, and the Bower Place team.
